David Bowie – Blackstar (CD)

David Bowie’s twenty-sixth and final studio album, (Blackstar), was released on January 8, 2016. This date coincided with his 69th birthday. He passed away just two days later on January 10, 2016, following a secret battle with cancer.

While much of the public was unaware of his failing health when the project was unveiled, the release was intentionally timed to be his final parting gift. It stands as a critically acclaimed, swan-song reflection on mortality and art featuring “Blackstar”, “Lazarus” and “I Can’t Give Everything Away”.
