Shellac – 1000 Hurts (Vinyl LP)

Released in 2000, 1000 Hurts is Shellac‘s third studio album, defined by intense math-rock instrumentation, acerbic wit, and high-fidelity, raw production, often considered a classic of the noise-rock genre. It showcases aggressive guitars, complex, jagged rhythms, and vocal performances from Steve Albini that are frequently described as personal, sarcastic, and unhinged.
