Corben Simpson – Corben Simpson Anthology (CD)

The Corben Simpson Anthology CD release is the ultimate collection and covers his Sonic tracks as a member of Littlejohn plus album and non album tracks from his Strange catalogue. The CD collection is book ended with the first and third versions of his APRA Silver Scroll winning song Have You Heard A Man Cry.

Also available fot Pre-Order is Corben Simpson 3, a vinyl release that compiles tracks recorded before and during the infamous Get Up With The Sun sessions during 1973, where Corben dragged his sofa into the studio. The album captures all aspects of Corbens unique talent as he croons through his version of Stevie Wonders, Love Every Little Thing About You before completely dismantling Carole Kings Goin Back and rebuilding it in his own inimitable style. His manic compositions Germs and Where Is Love defy description while his demo version with Blerta of Dance All Around the World and recorded during the same period is a fascinating peek into a Kiwi classic in its embryonic stage.
