L’Rain I Killed Your Dog (Vinyl)

The third full-length release from Brooklyn artist L’Rain is said to be an “anti-break-up” record. The whole album is bolder and brasher than previous LRain records, every harmony, loop, and skit engorged with verve. Taja Cheek has figured out how to maintain her slippery, impressionistic style while also letting it be known shes got that dog in her. The record makes time for sharp skit humour and ends with a dazzling dance-pop groove.
