Majid Jordan: Majid Jordan Vinyl 2LP

Majid Jordan consists of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman. One of the first signees to Drake and Noah 40 Shebibs OVO Sound, the duo is perhaps best known for the hook on the 6-god panty dropper Hold On, Were Going Home. But, like anything r&b/pbr&b-related coming out of OVO/Canada these daysDVSN, PartyNextDoor, Tory Lanez, The Weeknd, and Biebs even the music is good and these guys can certainly stand on their own ground. The immediate standout is the Nineteen85-produced King City, and the Hotline Bling producers thick bass, half-timed percussion, and dreamy synth work leave the perfect amount of room for MJs vocals to cut through. My Love featuring Drizzy is also a no brainer, and also check outdowntempo groovers Love Is Always There and Warm.
