Sam Beam & Jesca Hoop: Love Letter For Fire (Loser Edition Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Debut collaboration between Iron & Wine’s Sam Beam and Jesca Hoop. Love Letter For Fire is a collection of songs that plays on the tradition of the male / female duet where tales of love seem to be most at home. The music is bathed in the indie folk that the two artists are most known for. There’s a sense of fragility throughout the album, an innocent and mischievous approach to love. Tucker Martine’s production is simple and unfussy which fits the Beam and Hoop perfectly. Includes the songs: “Welcome To Feeling,” “Every Songbird Says,” and “Chalk It Up To Chi.” Thirteen tracks in all. Released by Sub Pop on limited Loser Edition marbled vinyl with a download code.
