The Knife: Shaking the Habitual (180g) 3LP+2CD

Fourth studio album from Sweden’s The Knife on deluxe triple vinyl! Shaking The Habitual is a bold departure from The Knife’s previous efforts, taking a left turn toward much more intense and aggressive experimentation. Here the duo of Karin and Olof Dreijer conduct exercises in alien melodies and sound sculpting, primitive tribal percussion, and totally tripped out vocals. If you’re looking for new and challenging sonic landscapes that could be from another world, this is it! Highlights include “A Tooth For An Eye,” “A Cherry On Top,” “Full Of Fire,” “Without You My Life Would Be Boring,” “Stay Out Here,” and “Ready To Lose.” Comes with awesome triple gatefold sleeve, poster, and double CD version of the album.
