Benidub: FX-ONE Live Dub Unit

LAB POINTS

• desktop dub unit designed for both studio mixing and live improvisation, inspired by classic reggae & dancehall soundsystems
• sound generators, microphone and auxiliary input can all feed the echo engine, allowing you to build and shape dub textures instantly
• four (4) independent dub sound effects: Dub Siren (classic siren sound), FM Square (square modulation with extended rate range for outer-space textures), Lickshot (classic machine gun / laser gun sounds), & Sonar (pure sine wave)
• each generator offers hands-on pitch, modulation & dynamic sweep control for expressive real-time performance
• purpose-built dub echo engine combines integrated filtering + internal limiting for controlled feedback behavior & smooth tape-like delay time response
• live mic channel: an integrated compressor controls the wide dynamic range of live vocals, the channel includes an anti-pop high-pass filter and is optimized for close use with dynamic microphones
• one (1) auxiliary input with selectable line or spring tank mode, ready to integrate external instruments, playbackdevices or complex dub setups into the signal chain
• power supply + single RCA cable included

The FX-ONE brings together four sound generators, a live-ready microphone channel, one auxiliary input and a central dub echo engine in one compact unit. Designed for live performance, it gives you direct control over sound creation and echo manipulation without the need for complex setups. It is the complete dub performance tool. – Benidub
