Christoph El Truento – Musical Power – Rub-A-Dub Special (Vinyl)

Auckland producer Christoph El Truentoreturns with Musical Power, his most precise record yet – sparse and detailed in the same breath, where every part, down to the smallest gesture, is doing exactly what it needs to.

Following Dubs From The Neighbourhood and Peace Maker Dub, Musical Poweris indebted to the early dub tradition. Warm tape, vintage keys and melodica echo through the tracks.

Each song unfolds as its own journey, and together they trace something bigger. More powerful than accompaniment, music is rongo prepared with care, the right amount for a spiritual aliment, healing and uplifting.

For such bold declaration, the sound does the humble carrying, prepared for headphone listening or sound system weight.
