Chvrches: Every Open Eye (Indie Exclusive Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Indie Exclusive Coke Bottle Clear vinyl pressing! Second studio album from Scotland’s Chvrches. Every Open Eye was recorded in a basement flat that producer Iain Cook had converted into a studio with the band’s advance for the album. The band wrote and recorded everything together, refusing outside offers to contribute to the album. They’ve further refined their sound, crafting songs that embrace their poppier side rather than going in for prolonged instrumental excursions. There are plenty of peaks throughout the record, from the “Just Can’t Get Enough” vibes of “Clearest Blue,” to the low slung beats of “Never Ending Circles.” Every Open Eye is the sound of Chvrches heading towards pop greatness. Released by Glassnote on limited edition Coke Bottle Clear vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a download code.
