Joanna Newsom: Divers Vinyl 2LP

With rave reviews already pouring in, Joanna Newsoms fourth album (not on Spotify, still beefing) continues the avant garde songstresss path on the unpaved fringes of folk and pop (or “fop”). In my book, shes the next progression of Kate Bush and Cocteau Twins. This quality double vinyl pressing in a thick glossy gatefold (like those old CTI jazz records) solidifies the idea of permanence as ifshes marking her territory. Newsom fans wont be disappointed.
