John Talabot: DJ Kicks (Free CD) 2LP

Spanish DJ/producer John Talabot gets tapped for the latest entry in the long running DJ-Kicks mix series. Akin to his own productions, Talabot’s selections for the mix are an eclectic trek through lush textures and euphoric moments on the dancefloor. Epic to say the least! Features entries from British Shoegazers Maps (as remixed by Andy Stott), Brooklyn house new comer Alex Burkat, Lab favorite Motor City Drum Ensemble, L.I.E.S. representer Samo DJ, as well as many other deep house and techno rarities. Tracks come unmixed on double vinyl with mixed CD version included. Recommended.
