KG Band: Disco Train 12″ + Bonus 7″

Afro disco heat reissued! Hot Casa hooks it up once again with another impossible to find Nigerian record, this time from the mighty Kiki Gyan aka Africa’s answer to Stevie Wonder. If you’ve been keeping up with the reissue scene, you’ve probably seen the recent Kiki Gyan comp on Soundway, but here is the original K.G. LP from 1980 in its original form, complete with full cover reproduction and bonus 7″! Check the 10 and a half minute “Disco Train,” a disco stomper of epic proportions, packed with floor filling energy and uplifting EWF vibes. Definitely worth it for this one, but also includes “Loving You” and a Boogie Gentleman edit of “Disco Train” on the included one-sided 45! Limited import pressing, recommended.
