Kingdom: VIP Edition (Usher, Ciara) 12″

Night Slugs sister imprint Fade To Minddrops its second release from Brooklyn-based Kingdom (who has also appeared on Fool’s Gold). On the VIP Edition, Kingdom drops some of his most potent hip-hop club tools. It leads with “Fukin Jaker” a wicked stomper that samples vintage Three Six Mafia. Usher’s 2008 “Appetite” gets edited into a cerebral hip-hop track that easily trumps the og. Lastly, Night Slugs’ favorite Ciara gets a proper bass-ed treatment of “Goodies.” Also includes the instrumental version of the Ciara track.
