Lone: Crystal Caverns 1991 12″

The music of Matt “Lone” Cutler seems to always have one foot in the past and one foot in the present. With “Crystal Caverns 1991” he mines 90s rave and ramps up the aggressiveness with rapid fire programming. Intricate layers are woven together to create a unique sound that is tinged with familiarity. “Vulcan Mill Acid” blends an intriguing mix of acid house, tropical bass, and techno together into something that seems cluttered on the surface but will have you nodding your head in no time.
