Madlib: Bad Neighbor Instrumentals Vinyl 2LP

Instrumental companion to 2015’s Bad Neighbor album from MED, Blu, and Madlib. Here the Beat Konducta’s production gets all the shine and the beats certainly hold their own, even without the emcee’s involved. Check the heavy head nod on “Serving,” the psycho boom bap of “Peroxide,” weightyslaps on “Get Money,” or the manic percussion of “Streets.” That’s just the tip of the iceberg too, as you know Madlib likes to lace you up with quality AND quantity. Peep the knock on “The Strip,” “Finer Things,” “Drive In,” and more. 18 bangers for the beat heads and rhyme spitters spread over two LPs.
