MEDaL – Sequela (Vinyl)

The musical mind-meld of Lyttelton-based luminariesDavid Mulcahy Superette, JPSE, John Billows The Renderers, Dark Matter and drummerMark Whyte Into The Void,MEDaL aptly titled second albumSEQUELA.

There’s elements of all members’ earlier projects bubbling through their fuzzed-out and heavy grooving new nine track creation, venturing into hypnotic zones of shadowy motorik/psych on Head Pig, Night Falls and the pounding ‘606’, while Mulcahy’s gift for incisive hooks shine on opener Divide & Carnage. Uplifting shoegazy electronic anthem Beyond.

Laid down during 2022 in the trio’s London St rehearsal space, open your ears to the sonic wonders to be found within Sequela
