LAB TESTS

• minor body warps: Orb fixed to 90-95% flatness
• moderate body warps: Orb fixed to 80-90% flatness
• moderate bowl-shaped warps: Orb fixed to 80-90% flatness, may require (2) passes
• moderate lip warps: Orb fixed to 80-90% flatness, may require (2) passes
• severe warps: results varied – may not fix record to desired level; warp is improved but still unplayable; some records became playable
• “moderate” = record still plays before treatment
• “severe” = record unplayable before treatment

HOW IT WORKS

This product flattens warped discs and returns them to their original condition in just a few hours with automatic heating temperature adjustment function. By gently heating the record evenly and with a uniform pressure the vinyl can be returned to its original flat state without degrading the audio quality. The Disc Flattener has semiconductor film applied in the top and bottom heaters of the unit allowing for a uniform heating process combined with an even pressure.
