Originally released in 1959, We Three showcases Haynes front and center, his instantly recognizable rhythmic approach, aided by crisp, rapid fills and steadfast hi-hat, leading Newborn’s gentle, toned-down (unusual for the often flashy, Art Tatum-Oscar Peterson school pianist) style & Chambers’ exceptional support.
