Ryan Adams: No Shadow (Limited Edition) Vinyl 7″

Funny things happen when you have famous friends. “No Shadow” was apparently born from the hands of none other Johnny Depp. He showed up at Ryan Adams’ PaxAm studio with a riff and an idea. Adams wrote some lyrics and the two committed the song to 2″ tape along with Marshal Vore on drums. The b side kicks off with the first collaboration between Adams and Depp, a rocking jam that features Depp on vocals. “Stoned Alone” finds Adams reminiscing about being stoned in the 7-11 parking lot across the street from his studio.
