Savages: Silence Yourself (Free MP3) LP

1981 Post Punk for 2013. The London four piece has been making waves around the world with their aggressive yet catchy tunes recalling your favorite Punk Rock female leads from Siouxsie to Karen. Tribal drumming with jangly guitar riffs and overdriven bass, it’s hard not to think back to simpler times of pure, sweaty rock n roll. Fans of Mission of Burma, Jesus Lizard, and The Seconds will find a comfortable home in Silence Yourself. Stand out tracks include “Husbands”, “City’s Full”, and the perfect opener in “Shut Up”. Comes in limited edition matte sleeve. Recommended.
