Smokecloud Records: Smokecloud Blend Vinyl 12″

If variety is the spice of life, then this record is one spicy a-meatball! For Smokecloud Blend, Smokecloud Records gives us a little bit of this and a little bit of that, and it all sounds damn good. The four tracker gathers tracks from relative newcomers The Silver Rider, Falcon Punch (gotta love that name), Vinyladdicted & SMQ, and label honcho Osmose, who all put their best foot forward for the eclectic dancefloor set. Check the cosmic disco groove on “Sly & Pat,” the funky uptempo stepper “Move,” slomo cut-up house action on “Caught Up,” and sexy disco reggae vibes galore on “CC Tribute.” Limited pressing, vinyl only!
