Timber Timbre: Sincerely, Future Pollution (180g, Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Where Brooklin at?Sincerely, Future Pollutionis the sixth studio full-length from Brooklin, Ontario four-piece Timber Timbre. S,FP picks up right where 2014’s Hot Dreams left off, with the band continuing to implementsynthesizers and drum machines in their hodgepodge of forward-thinking folk.Comparisons canbe drawn to other acts who have juxtaposed bucolic songwriting with electronic textures (Bon Iver and Bright Eyes spring to mind) but the band flex their versatility on S,FP with the Steely Dan-ish clavient funk joint “Grifting”; elsewhere,Taylor Kirk‘s husky voiceinvokes the loungy allure of Jarvis Cocker on “Western Questions”. Nine tracks altogether, on heavy 180 gram clear vinyl in a striking gold foil-stamped tip-on gatefold sleeve.
