XL Recordings: Pay Close Attention Vinyl 4LP Boxset

The evolution and adaptability of XL Recordings is beyond impressive. Founded in 1989 as rave label, XL Recordings has navigated the music scene like Berkshire Hathaway navigates business. They’ve introduced many to The Prodigy, SBTRKT, Jamie XX, The White Stripes, M.I.A., Vampire Weekend, Tyler The Creator, Adele, King Krule and so many others. This 34 track boxset is divided into two parts: “Part 1 is the roots of XL; underground music, made for DJs. These roots are still growing. Part 2 features some of the singular talents who have taken the label further than we ever envisioned.” Limited edition, highly recommended.
